WHAT I DO

Architecture, backend, web and AI — from the concept through to production.

I’m self-employed and work with companies that have a technical problem they cannot solve on the side. That might be a backend that buckles under load, a frontend that nobody can find, an AI idea that has to survive contact with production, or a codebase where nobody is sure what is safe to touch.

I take it from the architecture through to the implementation — and leave behind something that still makes sense in two years.

Backend & Architecture

Senior-level backend work in C# / .NET Core, with an eye on performance, security and architecture that still scales once the traffic arrives. I design the system before I write it, and I write it so the next person can read it.

Web Frontend

Fast web frontends with Astro — the kind that load instantly and are easy for search engines and AI assistants to read — and Angular where an application genuinely needs a complex single-page architecture.

AI & Automation

Practical AI, not a demo: integrating LLMs into products that already exist, building RAG pipelines over your own data, and automating the steps nobody should still be doing by hand. Plus IoT where devices need to join the conversation.

Fractional CTO

Technical leadership without a full-time hire. I advise on technology choices, run code audits that tell you what you actually bought, and tidy up how your team ships. Useful when you need the judgement more often than the headcount.

SWEETPOPCORN.STUDIO

Larger projects run through SweetPopcorn.Studio, where I am a shareholder and developer — a full team instead of one freelancer, when that is what the work needs.

REFERENCES

A few things I have built and still stand behind.

Platform for the Route Compatibility Check

2023-Present
C# / .NET Angular PostgreSQL

A platform that turns the Route Compatibility Check into something operators can actually run: carry out the RCC, document it properly and sign it off — instead of chasing it through spreadsheets and email. Built and maintained at SweetPopcorn.Studio.

Crisis and disaster management platform

2023-Present
C# / .NET Angular PostgreSQL OGC / GIS LLM Integration

A platform for authorities, emergency services and companies handling the incidents that fall outside routine operations — natural disasters, major accidents, mass gatherings. It combines a digital situation map, an incident logbook and staff management, with reports passing between state, district and municipal level.

Residents can file reports with photo and location via QR code, every change is logged with timestamp and user, and an open OGC interface connects it to existing GIS systems. It runs on-premise or in an EU cloud, so it keeps working when the network does not. Built at SweetPopcorn.Studio.

Recipe platform, built from scratch

2023-Present
C# / .NET Angular PostgreSQL DDD Meilisearch

My own startup: authentic recipes from around the world, with the regional context that usually gets lost. Domain-Driven Design on PostgreSQL, search by Meilisearch — the project where an architecture idea goes straight to production.

Digital twin platform on DTDL

2021-2022
C# / .NET Microsoft Orleans DTDL IoT

An IoT stack built around the Digital Twin Definition Language on Microsoft Orleans, letting users define their own vocabulary and query the resulting knowledge graph through a range of APIs.

Digital command center for emergency services

2017-2021
Angular RxJS NRWL Cypress

A digital command center used by emergency services, where a slow render is not a cosmetic problem. I worked on features end to end, on the module architecture, and on rendering performance and memory leaks.
